Ashland is home. The corridor is the territory.

We're based in Ashland — dead-center between Omaha and Lincoln — and take work everywhere within about an hour of home.

Omaha, NE

We're about 30 minutes from most of the Omaha metro — close enough to be there when we say we will, far enough that we never take the work for granted.

Lincoln, NE

Lincoln is an easy half hour down the interstate from our home base in Ashland — we've been working this corridor for decades.

Painters in Lincoln →

Gretna, NE

Gretna is practically next door — about 15 minutes up Highway 6 from Ashland. It's some of the closest work we do.

Painters in Gretna →

Elkhorn, NE

Elkhorn sits about 25 minutes from our home base — straight shot up Highway 6 and around the west side.

Painters in Elkhorn →

Ashland, NE

Ashland is home. We live here, work here, and you've probably seen our jobs around town — even if you didn't know it was us.

Painters in Ashland →

Greenwood, NE

Greenwood had more people in it in 1885 than it does now, and the houses show it. Old wood carrying a lot of coats, postwar ranches in between, and new builds going up on hundred-year-old lots — all inside half a square mile.

Painters in Greenwood →

Bellevue, NE

Nebraska's oldest town is not where you'd go looking for old houses. A few 1850s buildings survive in Olde Towne, but the median Bellevue house went up around 1982. We're about thirty miles west in Ashland, a little over half an hour.

Painters in Bellevue →

Papillion, NE

One Papillion street is 1870s clapboard with a porch on it. Half a mile west, the siding is engineered wood that hasn't seen its second coat yet. Same city, two entirely different paint jobs.

Painters in Papillion →

La Vista, NE

La Vista was farm ground until 1959. Almost nothing in it predates the plat, which is a strange thing in eastern Nebraska and the one fact that decides what a painter does here.

Painters in La Vista →

Millard, NE

Omaha annexed Millard in 1971, but the schools kept their own district and the neighborhoods kept the name. It's twenty-one miles northeast of our shop in Ashland, which makes it the near side of the city for us.

Painters in Millard →

Bennington, NE

Bennington is a town where most of the houses are newer than the trees. That changes what a paint job is here: less peeling clapboard, more builder-flat that never washed right and a kitchen full of stained maple.

Painters in Bennington →

Waverly, NE

Waverly took its name from a Walter Scott novel, and a few of its streets did too. Its houses arrived in bursts — a railroad town, a rush after the interstate, then a long modern run — each leaving a different paint problem.

Painters in Waverly →

Wahoo, NE

Saunders County voted on its seat in 1873, Wahoo won, and the county records left Ashland in the night. Wahoo kept the courthouse, the downtown, and a lot of houses built by people who meant to stay. We're still in Ashland.

Painters in Wahoo →

Springfield, NE

We paint Springfield out of Ashland, twenty road miles west of you — 66 east through South Bend, then 50 north. Nineteenth-century houses in the old core, ranches behind them, and acreages out where the section roads start.
